1. General
Little Tree Farm (“we,” “our,” “us”) operates as a Canadian nursery specializing in trees, shrubs, and plants. By using this website and purchasing products from us, you (“you,” “customer,” “purchaser”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

Payment is due in full at the time of order.

We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as indicated at checkout.

Prices are subject to change without notice; however, confirmed orders will not be affected.
3. Shipping and Delivery

We ship live plants during the appropriate planting seasons to ensure survival.

Delivery timelines are estimates only; weather, courier delays, or unforeseen circumstances may impact timing.

The customer is responsible for providing accurate shipping information. We are not liable for delays or losses caused by incorrect addresses.
4. Risk of Loss and Plant Condition

All plants are carefully inspected and packaged prior to shipping.

Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon delivery to the address provided.

Because live plants are perishable, minor variations in size, shape, or appearance are expected and not grounds for a refund.
5. Plant Guarantee
We guarantee the quality and viability of our trees and plants. If a tree or plant purchased from Little Tree Farm fails to leaf out by June 15th of the first growing season following delivery, you must notify us without undue delay.

Upon timely notification and verification, we will issue a store credit equal to the original purchase price of the affected item(s), excluding shipping and handling charges.

This guarantee applies only where the purchaser has provided reasonable and proper care, planting, and maintenance of the product as outlined in our planting guidelines.

We reserve the right to request proof of planting and care (including photographs) prior to issuing any credit.
Please note: No credits, replacements, or refunds will be provided for claims made after June 15th of the first growing season.

This guarantee does not cover losses due to:

Drought, flooding, pests, disease, or wildlife damage

Improper planting or neglect

Severe weather, natural disasters, or other events beyond our control

6. Refunds and Returns
Due to the nature of live plants, all sales are considered final. We do not accept returns.
Our Plant Guarantee (see Section 5) provides coverage until June 15th of the first growing season following delivery. Customers must notify us of any issues before this date. Upon timely notification and verification, we will issue a store credit equal to the original purchase price of the affected item(s), excluding shipping and handling charges.
No credits, replacements, or refunds will be provided for claims made after June 15th.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Little Tree Farm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Our liability shall be limited to the purchase price of the product(s) in question.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, and logos, is the property of Little Tree Farm and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.
9. Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Information you provide will only be used to process your order, deliver products, and communicate with you about our services.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nova Scotia.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting to this website.
