How To Grow.

Seeds can be direct sown into the ground in summer or autumn. These Seeds needs a period of cold for germination, which is called stratification, to be able to to grow easily from seed.

The young seed pods of the sweet Cecily plant are edible. They are crunchy and have a sweeet and sour flavour. The flower and leaves can be tossed in a salad or brewed as a tea to help coughs and congestion, digestion and chest complaints.
